Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Fort Osage Indians (Independence, MO), 4-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Truman advances its record to 22-13 on the season. The Patriots travel to Belton (Belton, MO) to battle the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, May 15. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 10-14. Belton lost 13-12 in their recent non-league match against Ruskin (Kansas City, MO)

The Indians now have a 13-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Raytown for a non-league match on Friday, May 16.
