Kansas High School Baseball - Manhattan loses to Great Bend

The Manhattan Indians baseball squad (Manhattan, KS), was overwhelmed 16-7 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Great Bend Panthers (Great Bend, KS)

With the triumph, Great Bend moves its record to 18-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Garden City (Garden City, KS) to confront the Buffaloes in a Western Athletic contest on Friday, May 16. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a record of 6-14. Garden City lost 18-3 in their recent non-league contest against Thomas More Prep-Marian (Hays, KS)

The Indians now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emporia for a Centennial contest on Thursday, May 15. Manhattan will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Spartans record now stands at 11-8.
