The Harpursville Hornets baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Greene Trojans to 5 in the Hornets league win on Wednesday.

The Hornets now hold a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Delaware Academy for a Section 4 Midstate I test on Thursday, May 15. Harpursville will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-6 league win over Greene (Greene, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Greene drops to 6-8 on the year.
