Michigan High School Baseball - Lakeland wallops Mott

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) and the host Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI), saw Lakeland's baseball team gain a win over Mott by a tally of 13-2.

The Eagles (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Bay City Western defeated Central (Bay City, MI), 5-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Corsairs face the Seaholm Maples (Birmingham, MI) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 17. Mott will attempt to upgrade on its 3-28 season record. The Maples enter the battle with a 19-6 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Garden City (Garden City, MI).
