The Malden Golden Tornados baseball squad (Malden, MA), was edged 4-3 in Wednesday's league contest with the host Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA)

With the triumph, Medford moves its record to 9-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA) to confront the Tanners in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. The Tanners come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Woburn Memorial won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Reading Memorial (Reading, MA)

The Golden Tornados now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Park RVT/McKinley RVT for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. Malden will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 18-4 non-league win over Brighton (Brighton, MA). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-5.
