The Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH) baseball got by the visiting Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH), 5-4 in Wednesday's league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Black River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. Manchester will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 20-9 league loss to Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 9-7.

With the defeat, Northwest drops to 8-14 on the year. The Indians host Field (Mogadore, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15.
