In Wednesday's league game, the host Melvindale Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 20-0 victory over the Romulus Eagles.

The Cardinals (18-10) will now prepare for their game against Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Monarchs enter the non-league game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Cabrini defeated Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 16-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Eagles face the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne game, on Monday, May 19. Romulus will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 league win over Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI).
