Indiana High School Baseball - Portage loses to Chesterton

Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) followers left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Portage Indians (Portage, IN), 22-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Chesterton moves its record to 5-11 on the season. The Trojans host Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN) to battle the Wolves in a non-league match on Thursday, May 15. The Wolves come into the match with a record of 0-0.

The Indians now possess a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanover Central for a non-league match on Monday, May 19. Portage will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
