The James River Knights smashed the visiting Patrick County Cougars soccer team by a tally of 6-1 in Wednesday's league game.

Next, the Knights clash with the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a Three Rivers game, on Friday, May 16. James River will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record.

The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Dan River was overwhelmed by Chatham (Chatham, VA), 6-0, in a league game.
