The La Porte Slicers baseball squad (La Porte, IN), 5-3 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN)

With the triumph, Valparaiso moves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 15. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 7-2. Hanover Central won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN)

The Slicers now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portage for a contest on Tuesday, May 20. La Porte will confront a Indians squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Indians record now stands at 8-9.
