The South Lyon Lions baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Walled Lake Central Vikings to 0 in the Lions non-league win on Wednesday.
The Lions now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kettering for a non-league test on Friday, May 16. South Lyon will play a Captains team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, MI). The Captains record now stands at 5-12.
With the defeat, Walled Lake Central drops to 4-18 on the year. The Vikings host Milford (Highland, MI) to play the Mavericks in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 9-12.
