The Deep Run Wildcats triumphed over the host Godwin Eagles lacrosse team by a tally of 8-3 in Wednesday's non-league match.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 17. Deep Run will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Orange County (Orange, VA).
The Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Thomas Dale was overwhelmed by Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 8-0, in a non-league match.
