The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Lyons Lions to 1 in the Huskies non-league win on Wednesday.

The Huskies now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15.

With the loss, Lyons moves to 11-5 on the season. The Lions host York (Elmhurst, IL) to confront the Dukes in a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. The Dukes come into the battle with a record of 3-2. York lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)
