Illinois High School Softball - Amboy knocked off by Morrison

In Wednesday's league test, the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), by a count of 12-2.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Oregon Hawks (Oregon, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 17. Morrison will attempt to upgrade on its 17-4 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 20-10 record after their 11-3 league win over Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL).

The Clippers (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Somonauk (Somonauk, IL). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Somonauk was routed by Newark (Newark, IL), 16-1, in a league test.
