The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) and the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), observed Cranston East's softball team notch a victory over Rogers by a final score of 12-2.

The Thunderbolts (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI). The Cavaliers go into the Division 3 bout with a 4-12 record. In their last bout, Juanita Sanchez Complex was routed by Classical (Providence, RI), 18-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Thursday, May 15. Rogers will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 9-5 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI).
