Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), 13-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Prospect improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lincoln (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Lions in a Santa Teresa bout on Friday, May 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 15-8. Lincoln lost 6-3 in their recent non-league bout against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)

In their next game, the Dons clash with the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa bout, on Friday, May 16. Del Mar will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 4-2 league loss to Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA).
