The Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Paul Cuffee to 12 in the Scarlet Knights league win on Wednesday.

The Scarlet Knights now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shea for a Division 3 battle on Thursday, May 15. Exeter-West Greenwich will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 23-13 league win over Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI). The Raiders record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Paul Cuffee moves to 1-13 on the season. The host Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to encounter the Villa Novans in a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. The Villa Novans come into the battle with a record of 2-12. Woonsocket lost 16-1 in their recent league battle against Barrington (Barrington, RI)
