The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Queensbury Spartans (Queensbury, NY) and the host Gloversville Huskies/Dragons (Gloversville, NY), observed Queensbury's softball team prevail over Gloversville by a tally of 23-10.

The Spartans (8-10) will now prepare for their bout against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY). The Black Bears go into the Section 2 Foothills bout with a 10-6 record. In their last bout, Glens Falls knocked off Broadalbin-Perth (Broadalbin, NY), 17-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies/Dragons clash with the Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills bout, on Friday, May 16. Gloversville will attempt to advance on its 2-15 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY).
