In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors softball team scored a tight 8-4 win over the Hinsdale Pacers.

The Warriors (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Nute (Milton, NH). The Rams come into the Division IV match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Nute was routed by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH), 19-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Pacers battle the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 16. Hinsdale will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 5-5 record after their 11-6 league loss to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH).
