The Hodgdon Hawks softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Wisdom Pioneers to 8 in the Hawks league win on Wednesday.

The Hawks now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Katahdin for a Class D North battle on Monday, May 19. Hodgdon will confront a Cougars team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Wisdom moves to 4-2 on the season. The Pioneers host Washburn (Washburn, ME) to confront the Beavers in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. The Beavers come into the battle with a record of 1-7. Washburn lost 20-9 in their recent non-league battle against Ashland (Ashland, ME)
