The North Pole Patriots the host Hutchison Hawks softball squad by a count of 13-11 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Patriots play the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) in a Mid Alaska challenge, on Thursday, May 15. North Pole will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 9-7 non-league loss to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK).

The Hawks (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes enter the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record.
