The Libertyville Wildcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees to 1 in the Wildcats league win on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taft for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. Libertyville will battle a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 18-11.

In their next game, the Zee-Bees battle the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a North Suburban match, on Monday, May 19. Zion-Benton will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 24-3 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL).
