Massachusetts High School Softball - Whitman-Hanson Regional bested by Marshfield

The Marshfield Rams triumphed over the visiting Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Silver Lake Regional Lakers (Kingston, MA) in a Patriot - Keenan challenge, on Thursday, May 15. Marshfield will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Lakers enter the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 18-0 league win over Plymouth North (Plymouth, MA).

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Hingham (Hingham, MA). The Harbormen go into the Patriot - Keenan match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Hingham gained a win over Plymouth North (Plymouth, MA), 4-0, in a league match.
