The McKay Royal Scots softball squad (Salem, OR), was routed 23-1 in Wednesday's league contest with the host South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR)

With the triumph, South Albany improves its record to 8-14 on the year. The Redhawks host Dallas (Dallas, OR) to face the Dragons in a 5A Mid-Willamette contest on Friday, May 16. The Dragons enter the contest with a record of 15-7. Dallas won 2-1 in their recent league contest against Silverton (Silverton, OR)

The Royal Scots now hold a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to North Salem for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 15. McKay will face a Vikings squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 3-13.
