The Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) softball routed the host Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), 22-0 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Falcons now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spruce Mountain for a Class C South outing on Saturday, May 17. Mountain Valley will encounter a Phoenix team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Phoenix record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Mount Abram moves to 0-6 on the season. The Roadrunners travel to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME) to encounter the Cougars in a Class C South outing on Friday, May 16. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 4-3. Dirigo won 15-0 in their recent league outing against Madison (Madison, ME)
