In Wednesday's non-league test, the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT), by a tally of 15-3.
Next, the Gaels clash with the Sheehan Titans (Wallingford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Housatonic test, on Thursday, May 15. Shelton will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Hillhouse (New Haven, CT).
The (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Foran (Milford, CT). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Foran prevailed over Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT), 17-0, in a non-league test.
