New York High School Baseball - General Brown wallops Carthage

In Thursday's league game, the host General Brown Lions baseball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Carthage Comets.

The Lions (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Sandy Creek (Sandy Creek, NY). The Comets go into the Section 3 Frontier A game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Sandy Creek knocked off Lyme Central (Chaumont, NY), 8-5, in a league game.

Next, the Comets play the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils (Verona, NY) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 15. Carthage will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Red Devils go into the game with a 3-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Camden (Camden, NY).
