The Meridian Mustangs baseball squad (Sanford, MI), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI)

With the triumph, Clare moves its record to 13-11 on the season. The Pioneers host Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI) to confront the Huskies in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 16. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 6-12. Benzie Central lost 22-1 in their recent non-league contest against St. Francis (Traverse City, MI)

The Mustangs now possess a 13-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sault Area for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 16. Meridian will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Pickford (Pickford, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-6.
