Wisconsin High School Baseball - Marathon defeats Edgar

The Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) baseball trounced the visiting Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI), 9-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Red Raiders now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Regis for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 15. Marathon will clash with a Ramblers team coming off a 20-3 league win over Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI). The Ramblers record now stands at 8-8.

With the defeat, Edgar drops to 4-9 on the year. The Wildcats host Columbus Catholic (Marshfield, WI) to clash with the Dons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 18. The Dons go into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Columbus Catholic won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Loyal (Loyal, WI)
