The St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) baseball trounced the host Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL), 15-5 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 19-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Putnam County for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 15. St. Bede will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Serena (Serena, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 17-10.
With the defeat, Midland drops to 12-12 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to St. Bede (Peru, IL) to clash with the Bruins in a Tri-County challenge on Tuesday, May 19. The Bruins go into the challenge with a record of 20-11.
