The Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) baseball trounced the host Sherando Warriors (Stephens City, VA), 9-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a Northwestern challenge on Monday, May 18. Millbrook will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-0 league win over Handley (Winchester, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Sherando drops to 13-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA) to clash with the Falcons in a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 19. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Fauquier lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA)
