The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) and the host Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), saw Scott's baseball team beat Sherman by a margin of 9-6.

The Skyhawks (20-9) will now prepare for their battle against Clay County (Clay, WV). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 12-16 record. In their last battle, Clay County by Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV), 13-3, in a non-league battle.
