The West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) baseball trounced the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 16-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Invaders now own a 5-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Pocono for a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Friday, May 15. West Scranton will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 9-7 league win over Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-10.

With the defeat, Scranton drops to 8-11 on the year.
