Michigan High School Softball - Central Montcalm bounces Grant

May 14, 2026: Stanton, MI 48888

The Central Montcalm Hornets (Stanton, MI) softball the visiting Grant Tigers (Grant, MI), 10-6 in Thursday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Lothrop for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 16. Central Montcalm will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 8-4 league win over Byron (Byron, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Grant moves to 13-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Newaygo (Newaygo, MI) to encounter the Lions in a Central State Activities Association-Gold outing on Saturday, May 16. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 16-9. Newaygo won 11-1 in their recent non-league outing against Whitehall (Whitehall, MI)
