Michigan High School Softball - Laker bounces Vassar

May 14, 2026: Pigeon, MI 48755

In Thursday's league match, the host Laker Lakers softball team scored a nice 21-0 victory over the Vassar Vulcans.

The Lakers (12-10) will now prepare for their match against Deckerville (Deckerville, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Deckerville gained a win over Kingston (Kingston, MI), 15-6, in a league match.

In their next game, the Vulcans battle the Millington Cardinals (Millington, MI) in a Greater Thumb - West match, on Monday, May 18. Vassar will attempt to better on its 1-15 season record. The Cardinals go into the match with a 17-11 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MI).
