The Springfield Senators baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Jersey Panthers to 1 in the Senators non-league victory on Saturday.
The Senators (17-3) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters go into the non-league match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Lincoln tipped Riverton (Riverton, IL), 17-2, in a non-league match.
