In Saturday's non-league contest, the Seeger Patriots (West Lebanon, IN) softball team overwhelmed the host South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN), by a margin of 6-0.

With the triumph, Seeger moves its record to 17-3 on the year. The Patriots host Attica (Attica, IN) to play the Red Ramblers in a Wabash River contest on Tuesday, May 18. The Red Ramblers come into the contest with a record of 9-8. Attica won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN)

In their next game, the Rebels play the Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 17. South Newton will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 7-16 record after their 12-8 league loss to Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN).
