The De Pere Redbirds baseball team (De Pere, WI), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Ashwaubenon Jaguars (Green Bay, WI)
The Jaguars now hold a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Bay Preble for a Fox River Classic outing on Thursday, May 18. Ashwaubenon will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-1 league win over Green Bay Southwest (Green Bay, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 5-9.
Next, the Redbirds confront the Manitowoc Lincoln Ships (Manitowoc, WI) in a Fox River Classic outing, on Thursday, May 18. De Pere will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Ships go into the outing with a 16-3 record after their 12-5 non-league win over Two Rivers (Two Rivers, WI).
