Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY), 9-3 in a league test.

With the win, Grand Island upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lockport (Lockport, NY) to battle the Lions in a NFL test on Wednesday, May 17. The Lions come into the test with a record of 9-8. Lockport lost 14-4 in their recent league test against Niagara-Wheatfield (Sanborn, NY)

With the defeat, Lewiston-Porter falls to 2-10 on the season. The Lancers host Kenmore East (Tonawanda, NY) to battle the Bulldogs in a NFL test on Wednesday, May 17. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-8. Kenmore East won 6-2 in their recent league test against Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY)
