In Monday's league game, the host Riverheads Gladiators baseball team scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Waynesboro Little Giants.
The Gladiators (11-6) will now prepare for their game against Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Storm go into the Shenandoah game with a 3-18 record. In their last game, Staunton was overwhelmed by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 4-0, in a league game.
The Little Giants (1-18) will now prepare for their game against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA). The Green Hornets go into the Shenandoah game with a 17-4 record. In their last game, Wilson Memorial was overwhelmed by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 8-0, in a non-league game.
