Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 16-4 in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now have a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Providence for a Division 3 battle on Wednesday, May 17. Westerly will clash with a Townies squad coming off a 13-10 non-league loss to Rocky Hill Country Day (East Greenwich, RI). The Townies record now stands at 8-4.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts clash with the St. Mary Academy-Bay View Bengals (East Providence, RI) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 17. Cranston East will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Bengals come into the battle with a 8-3 record after their 12-11 league loss to Westerly (Westerly, RI).
