In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Louisa County Lions baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Monticello Mustangs.
The Lions (10-5) will now prepare for their game against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots go into the game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Albemarle tipped Goochland (Goochland, VA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
The Mustangs (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Western Albemarle was overwhelmed by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 10-0, in a non-league contest.
