Ohio High School Softball - Johnstown-Monroe bounces Amanda-Clearcreek

May 15, 2023: Johnstown, OH 43031

The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies routed the visiting Amanda-Clearcreek Aces softball squad by a final score of 10-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Johnnies (23-2) will now prepare for their battle against Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH). The Warriors go into the Licking County battle with a 25-0 record. In their last battle, Watkins Memorial notched a victory over New Albany (New Albany, OH), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

The Aces now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield Union for a Mid-State - Buckeye battle on Thursday, May 18. Amanda-Clearcreek will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Circleville (Circleville, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 5-11.

This game is a part of the 2023 OHSAA Softball State Championships (Ohio) - Division III tournament
