The Burnsville Blaze softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Apple Valley Eagles to 7 in the Blaze league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Burnsville moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Blaze host Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN) to clash with the Cougars in a South Suburban Conference game on Wednesday, May 17. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 7-9. Lakeville South lost 2-1 in their recent league game against Eagan (Eagan, MN)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 16. Apple Valley will attempt to move on its 1-15 season record. The Hornets come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN).
