Ohio High School Softball - Hoover holds off Archbishop Hoban

Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) and the host Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH), witnessed Hoover's softball squad tip Archbishop Hoban by a count of 5-3.
The Vikings now sport a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to GlenOak for a Federal match on Tuesday, May 16. Hoover will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Green (Uniontown, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Archbishop Hoban moves to 15-6 on the season.
