Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Auks now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wilmington Charter for a Diamond State challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Archmere Academy will battle a Force squad coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Force record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Brandywine falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE) to battle the Eagles in a Blue Hen Flight - B challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Hodgson Vo-Tech lost 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Christiana (Newark, DE)
