Maine High School Softball - Orono bounces Central

The Orono Riots routed the host Central Red Devils softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Monday's league battle.
The Riots (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Coyotes go into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Old Town was routed by Hermon (Hermon, ME), 4-2, in a league battle.
The Red Devils now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mattanawcook for a Class C North battle on Wednesday, May 17. Central will meet a Lynx squad coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Lynx record now stands at 10-0.
