East Aurora Blue Devils (East Aurora, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cheektowaga Warriors (Cheektowaga, NY), 6-1 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tonawanda for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. East Aurora will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Cheektowaga falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Albion (Albion, NY) to face the Purple Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 17. The Purple Eagles go into the match with a record of 4-6. Albion lost 7-5 in their recent league match against Wilson (Wilson, NY)
