In Monday's league outing, the host Northwestern Wildcats softball team scored a nice 16-6 win over the Fairview Tigers.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) in a District 10 Region 3 outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Northwestern will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Bears enter the outing with a 9-9 record after their 21-0 league win over Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA).

The Tigers (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Girard (Girard, PA). The Yellowjackets enter the District 10 Region 3 outing with a 0-13 record.
