The Powhatan Indians softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host L.C. Bird Skyhawks to 1 in the Indians league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Powhatan moves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to clash with the Generals in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 17. The Generals come into the game with a record of 18-1. Dinwiddie won 11-0 in their recent league game against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)

In their next game, the Skyhawks clash with the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion game, on Thursday, May 18. L.C. Bird will attempt to move on its 4-13 season record. The Lancers come into the game with a 12-8 record after their 7-3 league loss to James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA).
